UPRN stands for Unique Property Reference Number. It is a unique identifier for every addressable location in Great Britain. Each UPRN is a 12-digit number assigned by local authorities and centrally managed by GeoPlace. UPRNs provide a consistent way to identify and link property-related information across different datasets and systems.

Yes, however, please note that address searches cost 1 credit per lookup - the cost per credit can be found on our pricing page. UPRN searches remain free. Using UPRN is more accurate and efficient, but we understand that sometimes you may only have the address available. The credit system allows us to cover the costs associated with address sourcing and matching while still providing a cost-effective solution.
